Opening the packet I was greeted with an overwhelming sense of nausea and sickness feeling, upon research apparently it is due to formaldahyde levels from the factory, I was not able to keep the table in the house due to the poison sensation and odd smell when I came close. Apparently it is highly carcinogenic. I washed the table down to try get rid of the stuff, unfortunetly the water caused the edges and screw holes to swell and disfiguring the table. The smell did reduce but I still feel a bill sick if trying to sit at it. Hard to be happy when the product is poisonous.

Mis-matched 4th leg

I received the Jean Dining Table safely and on assembly found that one of the table’s legs has markings on it that are very noticeable as if during the “turning” process a different piece of wood (possibly not beech) has been used. Is it possible that I could get just another beech leg without returning the whole table? I’m in my late seventies and found unpacking the parcel an effort, let alone packing the whole table up and returning it.
